14th Avon Fine Art & Wine Affaire, Avon, Colorado

Thunderbird Artists Colorado Art and Wine FestivalThunderbird Artists, a family owned and operated company based in Arizona and producers of the 14th Annual Avon Fine Art & Wine Affaire are preparing to transform Nottingham Park, in Avon, into the s tate’s fine art capitol for three days, July 13th, 14th & 15th, 2007.

Nottingham Park provides an elegant backdrop for 100 award-winning, nationally recognized artists exhibiting impressive oils on canvas, watercolors, acrylics and mixed media paintings in various subjects. There are also spectacular small, medium and life-sized bronze sculptures. Patrons will be in awe of the dazzling glass, clay and mixed media sculptures, as well as dramatic pottery, one-of-a- kind handcrafted jewelry, outstanding photography and much more! The intimate nature of this festival lends itself to collector’s who prefer a more relaxed environment to get to know the artists, their history and their astonishing works of art.

The artists come from around the United States and abroad, many are even local. Some of the Colorado artists taking part in this unbelievable event include: Katherine McNeill with her breathtaking oils, Craig Bergsgaard and his western style bronzes, John Koch bringing his unique wood sculptures, brilliant contemporary stone work by Leo Atkinson, and many others, guaranteeing something for every art loves taste!

If one of Colorado’s most breathtaking gatherings of artists wasn’t enough, the festival is complimented by Schlossadler International Wines providing wine for tasting. For $10, patrons will receive an engraved souvenir wine glass and six tasting tickets; allowing patrons to indulge in wine and enjoy the unequaled ambience this festival provides.
