Back by popular demand, Thunderbird Artists presents the Scottsdale 5th Avenue Fine Art & Wine Festival, featuring esteemed bronze sculptor and creator of the horse fountain on 5th Avenue and Marshall Way, Bob Parks. The festival will take place on February 15th, 16th and 17th, 2008 and will set up on 5th Avenue between Scottsdale Rd & Goldwater Blvd.

Melanie BanayatBob Parks is an internationally renowned sculptor, focusing primarily on western themes and settings. Parks has been in the art business for over thirty years and has created more than 300 inimitable sculptures, including Arizona’s most photographed public art piece, Scottsdale’s Fifth Avenue Fountain.

Randy NottinghamThe Scottsdale 5th Avenue Fine Art & Wine Festival will provide unequaled wine tasting, live musical entertainment, gourmet food, mouthwatering chocolate, and 125 juried fine artists from throughout the United States and abroad. For $10, patrons will receive an engraved souvenir wine glass with six tasting tickets, allowing patrons to indulge in wine and stroll the only street of its kind in the Valley where locals and visitors enjoy the sidewalk and garden cafes sprinkled among a variety of boutiques and galleries.
The festival will take place on 5th Avenue between Scottsdale Rd and Goldwater Blvd. Hours are 10am to 5pm each day. Admission is $3 Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Parking is free all weekend.
